Don’t let them fool you, sisters. These misogynists don’t care about foreskins or baby boys. This is just another attack on women. This is about taking away your choice to look as good as you possibly can. Just like pro-lifers want to take away your choice to continue living child-free, these male chauvinists want to limit your beauty options.
If we’re real intersectional feminists, we don’t need to be afraid of this latest push by men to oppress women. If our best beauty products use baby foreskins, that’s not our problem. We’re punching up against the sex that oppressed us for thousands of years! We must safeguard a woman’s right to look her best, especially when it is directly derived from something lost by men. This is what equality looks like!
A bold statement my more financially endowed followers can make is to purchase the product in question. For those who can’t, please share this post or pen your own defense of a woman’s right to choose the beauty products that work best for her.
It is shocking to learn that there are still black Namibians who actually believe that white people are “born with functioning brains” in comparison to black people, that whites are our saviours and we cannot as Afrikans stand on our own without guidance from white people.
According to this pitiful fellow, we as Afrikans must thank the whiteman for the development he brought to us. This subservient black man continues to say that other Afrikan countries where there are no white people are in a state of “decay” even if they got their independence decades ago.
It is further said we in Namibia are lucky to have the “born-with-functioning-brains whites” here, apparently making us look like a European country in the middle of Afrika.
Men have to do a little better. A few of us, not a lot. But enough of us have to do a lot better. We have to stop being so shocked when women tell us they have been harassed or assaulted. It is happening all the time, all around us, and we have to stop pretending like it is not. If we choose to do nothing about it, and if we hide behind nonsensical movements like #NotAllMen. Then we have to accept that we are a part of the problem.
